Today so many of us come from all over the world, and live in numerous locations during our lifetimes, some of us out of choice, others because we have been displaced and might never make it home again. But if we limit people to only being from the place they were born, we are denying them their true identities. While a country or state my have fairly distinct borders at a given time, humans don’t. Our identity is multi-layered. We are glocal! 

Let’s embrace people’s glocality! Not only will it make our interactions more interesting and important, it will also bring us together, rather than pull us apart.
